The Kiriji Heritage Conservation Foundation is pleased to announce former Nigerian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Ambassador Dr. Olatokunbo Awolowo-Dosumu, as Co-Chairperson of the 140th Anniversary Commemoration of the Historic Kiriji Peace Treaty.
A respected medical practitioner, diplomat and administrator, Ambassador Awolowo-Dosumu is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Obafemi Awolowo Foundation.
She has remained actively committed to education, good governance, national development and the preservation of Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s intellectual and political legacy.
Her involvement will strengthen the commemoration’s mission to preserve Yoruba history, educate younger generations and promote peace, unity, reconciliation and cultural tourism.
The anniversary symposium will hold on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.
